Exercise 41 and 42

 Problem 41:

  1. Convert the paper size to inches:

    • 1 inch = 25.4 mm
    • Width: 210mm÷25.4=8.27inches210 \, \text{mm} \div 25.4 = 8.27 \, \text{inches}
    • Height: 297mm÷25.4=11.69inches297 \, \text{mm} \div 25.4 = 11.69 \, \text{inches}
  2. Multiply the dimensions by the required DPI (200 dpi):

    • Width resolution: 8.27inches×200dpi=1654pixels8.27 \, \text{inches} \times 200 \, \text{dpi} = 1654 \, \text{pixels}
    • Height resolution: 11.69inches×200dpi=2338pixels11.69 \, \text{inches} \times 200 \, \text{dpi} = 2338 \, \text{pixels}

Solution: 1654 x 2338 pixels

Problem 42

  1. Convert the paper size to inches:

    • Width: 210mm÷25.4=8.27inches210 \, \text{mm} \div 25.4 = 8.27 \, \text{inches}
    • Height: 297mm÷25.4=11.69inches297 \, \text{mm} \div 25.4 = 11.69 \, \text{inches}
  2. Multiply the dimensions by the required DPI (300 dpi):

    • Width resolution: 8.27inches×300dpi=2481pixels8.27 \, \text{inches} \times 300 \, \text{dpi} = 2481 \, \text{pixels}
    • Height resolution: 11.69inches×300dpi=3507pixels11.69 \, \text{inches} \times 300 \, \text{dpi} = 3507 \, \text{pixels}

Soulution: 2481 x 3507 pixels

2º Security Issue- Unreliable Wi-Fi

My brother always uses public libraries conections to do his online works. He has an important job and manage sensible information about clients and business. I think this is not a good idea to use public wi-fi connections to do so… What do you think and why…

Most of the population believes that public wifis are safe, but they are quite the opposite. By exposing yourself to that many people there is a high probability that they will get into your personal data. In this example, the personal data of other people is also exposed.
SOLUTIONS:
1. A VPN encrypts your Internet connection, protecting transmitted data and making online activity much harder to track, even when using public Wi-Fi.
2. It is essential that you use a personal device, which is updated with the latest security patches, instead of using a public or shared computer.
3. To prevent problems you should have good antivirus software and an activated firewall.
4. You can encrypt sensitive files so that even if someone manages to access the devices, they can't read the data.
5. You can use tools that monitor network connections and devices to detect suspicious activity.

To know more, I leave you this link to find out about the damage this can cause.

1º Security Issue- A Dangerous Password

I always use the same password for all my accounts and applications. I do not like to use complicated passwords because it is difficult to remember and too long. What do you think?....

A very common problem is passwords, people are used to copying and pasting their same password everywhere without taking into account the security of their privacy. When you copy and paste your password you increase the probability of losing your personal information since they don´t find the password for one, since they find the password of all the applications.
SOLUTIONS:
1. The best solution is to change the passwords and set new ones that are more complicated and different.
2. Change your passwords periodically, especially for sensitive accounts.
3. If you must copy and paste passwords, ensure you do so in a secure environment.
4. Clear your clipboard afterward to prevent accidental exposure.
5.Regularly check your accounts for unauthorized activity and use services that alert you to potential data breaches.

But just in case you have already lost an account, losing all of them at the same time, I leave you this link so you can see more information.
